This is Penny Pirate from Sassy Studio Designs, which is the second stamp I choose when I won 2 digital stamps. She is sooo fun to color and I like it how it is already a scene created.
Flowers are from Magnolia and Prima. I have colored with my Promarkers.

It starts to really feel like spring in Sweden. Sun is shining and the days becomes brighter. I like that. Maybe it is time to start create Easter cards? :)

I have just started to like using kraft as base for the card. I think it was a Sassy Studio Design Challenge who made me start doing that. :)

Hi!

For Tickled Pink Stamps last challenge I wanted to do something more than just a normal card. I wanted a new folding. So when I found All That Scraps Blog and their challenge it was perfect! They had great links to get us started and I found the link with "Gate fold card" and was inspired to create a card. I also wanted it brighter and less colors than normal, just white and blue for this one. Paper Sundaes have circles this time, I just love circles and dots!

Bye bye Tickled Pinks Challenge Blog! I am gonne miss your challenges, I really enjoyed them and looking at your fabolous design teams work!

It took some time to create this card because of all the different layers that I chalked that had to get dry.

Guest designer for Scrapper´s Delights

Hi!

Today I want to share a card I have created for Scrapper´s Delights new digital stamps release and the latest challenge "Bling it up". This was a fun stamp to color up! I love how it is already a scene from the begining! And for this card I wanted a elegant look. The girls pearls is made with pearlmaker. 4 Crafty Chicks have a nice and elegant photo to be inspired by. I love photos! And Stampin´for the Weekend have a bingo. I have used Ribbon - Pearls - Pink. (But if you look at the whole bingo-plate, there is actually just 2 squars I don´t have included, lol (lace and butterfly), this was bingo in my taste!!)

The sentiment was a freebie from Patty Wraps.

Hi all!

I was so lucky and won 2 digital stamps from Sassy Studio Designs! It was very hard to choise but finally I made the choise of 2 stunning digital images. This is one of them. :) She is called Bonnie of the Nile. First I tried to color gold on her, but I couldn´t really get the right shimmer so I added gold glitter and that did the trick. I have used a lot more gold on this card than I normally do, but I think this digi can carry up a lot more gold in the card than others. :)
The sentiment was decided before I started with the card because of Paper Sundaes Challenge. The sentiment is also the thing that pop in my card (besides the flowers) with dots under it. I hope it is clear enough in the photo. At least you can see the shadow under it. :)

And as you can see my base is kraft. :)

Hi!

Have you seen the new digital stamps the 3 companies Make it Crafty, Whimsy stamps and Little Miss Muffet stamps have released not long ago? I love them! They really have a speciel feeling, they breath Paris! And with these stamps, I feel I have changed my style on the layout of the card. In this card it is the fancy balcony that is the new stamp. Annabell is from the steampunk release. Sentiment was freebie on Valentine from Sassy Studio Design.

Hi!

Today I have a birthday card to show you. It is Tickled Pink Stamps that have a challenge and the colors is blue, orange, beige and yellow. I thought this sounded a lot like the 70th´s as I think it was Regan who also thought so. I think most photos was in black and white back then, so I made her black and white and added the colors to the card instead. I love this cardstock, so beautiful. The only problem is that the other side is beautiful too! In the other side it is pink with white dots. Love that too! This paper is from Jillibean Soup. I must say I have not heard about them, but that doesn´t say much really, since me and remembering names doesn´t belong to the same sentense. All the flowers are from Magnolia. The sentiment is from Marion 82, When the scrap hits the fun.

Edwin on my layout

Hi all!

When I saw the sketch over at TOMIC, I was inspired to do a layout. That doesn´t happen to often, I think I should do more, it is soo fun! This is one of my favorite photo´s all time. :) It is because it was so spontanious. Jocke was going to see if the ocean was warm, and was surprised by the wave. His expression of the face might be hard for you too see, but I can tell you it was funny! :)

So I finally cut those beautiful papers I had from Magnolia. The ones with the waves. Oh sometimes I want to save these beautiful things, but for what purpose? I shouldn´t think like that, it is much better to use them! Don´t you agree?!

The difficult thing with layouts is that it is so hard to take good photo´s of them. They are so big. I hung this on the wall and I think it is ok. Not the greatest, but not the worst photo..

It was great to finaly use this Edwin. I am ashamed that I have a couple of stamps I havn´t yet used. They just lay there. But one of them had to come out this week, it feels good!

This is a secret card. Sccchhhhh!
It is to Jocke for Valentines day, so I hope he doesn´t read my blog before that. Do you see the beautiful charm? I recieved it from Majsan, thank you so much!! I love it! :)

The stamp is called Rock Chick and is from Kenny K.
This is one of my attempts to color blond hair. I find it quite difficult. It is an easel card. Hm.. so many male cards, cards for men these days. As you can see I have tried to keep the colors manly too. The beautiful golden corner is from WOC. I have colored my image with my promarkers.

I am gonne write something sweet on the note.

And yes, he has an electric guitarr that he loves to play on, so this is perfect to him on Valentine´s Day.

Finally all in my family is well again, puh! So I have a new card. I wanted to do a more clean card and let Luca and the car images be in focus. So I have combined Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge with Paper Sundaes Challenge.

Behind Luca is a car from Papermania. I saw that Jill had background stamps, so I know it is ok. :) This is one of the clearstamps I got from Beate. :)

I had to make a girly card after my humour card. Even though I like to change styles, and liked my humour card, here comes something pink!!

Hi all!

I thought Tilda looked so lonely and sad in this stamp, that I had to do a blue card. And I made a shadow on her left side to make it look like she is leaning towards a wall.
The pin I have on this card, I have created by the pearls I got for christmas. It is fun to create own pins, I do need to buy some better pearls and material for it tho. Will have to look around on the net and see what I can find.

Tilda with hanging rabbit is the name of this stamp. And i got it recently, but I have wanted it for some time.

I have "liftat" Maya

Hi all!

I don´t know if there is an english term for lifta... Lifta is when you get inspired by someone and try and do something from that inspiration. It is a lot harder than I first thought. Usually I get inspiration from the stamp I am coloring and choose paper after that. This time I had the finished creation before I even started...tricky! So even if this looks easy it took me a while to figure out how to manage this.

Maya have created a bookmark for inspiration in Tickled Pink Challenges. And that bookmark is what I have lifted. Her bookmarks is here: Maya. Her bookmark is a little cooler than mine. :)

And when talking about Tickled Pink Challenges, I am so happy that I got a new blinkie today. Thank you sweet girls over at Tickled Pink. :)

Hi all!

Can you feel it? Love is in the air! And for us in this world of scrapbooking, we start to think a little earlier than the rest, on occations to come such as Valentines day, don´t we? When I created this card, I was huming on "Love is in the air". So this card fits Passion for ProMarkers challenge very well. And I always colors with ProMarkers, since I don´t have anything else to color with! :) This is my first challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps, and I got to pick a challenge from the year. I chickened and chose "Anything goes", even tho I think there was a challenge with Pink, and this card could fit in there too! :)

Hi all!

This week over at The Shabby Tea Room they have the theme "Time Flies"! And it does! So we need to "Carpe diem"! These wise owls seams to do that! This stamp is really old and is from Hero Arts. I bought it a long time before I become a cardmaker. I love to be inspired by photos. It is different, since I want to capture the feeling in the photo. It is fun.

We should also use something with wings. I have both owls from the stamp and added some butterflies. It was nice to let them out after some winter rest.

This metal flower is nice. I bought this one from Johanna. It was only one, so I have to find a place to buy more.

Something Old, Something New

Hi all!

When I saw the challenge over at Paper Sundaes, I know exactly what to do! I picked up the paper from Magnolia with the suitable name Something Old, Something New :)
This Thilda is called Scarecrow Thilda and she is a new stamp to me. :) I have colored her with promarkers and added glitter on her hat and gloves. The bees is pink. Pretty normal, don´t you think?! The swirl is one of my oldest dies. But still very useful! This lovely Prima flower is pretty new too. I really love them. Hope ticket is ofcourse from Tim Holtz. Leaf and brown flower was won in a blog candy. Yummy.

I like this new stamp, it was fun to color!

Over at the Shabby Tea Room they have a lovely challenge this week. A colorful and Shabby New Year is the name of the challenge and that is really what i wanted to do with my card. I was inspired by the beautiful work of the DT´s creations and the colorful picture. :)

The template I have used is from Magnolia Ink Magazine number 4, 2010. The big beautiful pink rose was brought to me by Santa, and is from Prisma. It was so nice to work with bright colors again.

A new (for me) kind of stair step card

Hi!

I am very much into card-folding right now. And this is a different (and new, for me!) kind of stair step card. I was inspired to create this card by the two hänglar stamps on clouds. They where my main focus. I wanted them to have something to sit on! Therefore this card:

3 stamps from Hänglar & Stänglar and the sentiment is from Magnolia.

The sentiment was in the latest kit i recieved some time ago.

More traditional colors than I normaly use. :)

Hi all! I hope you are all well in this stormy weather! At least that is how it is in Sweden today.

When I created this card, I was constantly thinking "for a man". I didn´t want it to sweet, but still a warm and cosy feeling. The image is from "the Stamping boutique".

My first "trappstegskort"

Hi all!

Over at Crafts and me Challenge they have this challenge called simples!

I don´t think it is easy to do a simple card!! In fact it is a real challenge!! :)

So I decided to take the step full out. I have no decoration at all! I just have design papers and digital stamps that I have colored and used only three die cuts totally. That isn´t much for being me!

The beautiful girl comes from Crafts and me.

So, when I had to keep it simple, I wanted to try a new fold. I have no idea what it is called in english, but in swedish we say "trappstegskort". A easy one of these, said the tutorial i read. It was fun to try a new folding!! I read about it here! Thank you!

Hi all!

Today I just wanted to share a colored digital stamp with you. I realize my choise of colors is quite often...not the normal colors. I think I am gonne try and be a bite more traditional, if I can. :) Because I love to create cards with other colors, but I don´t like to give them away, then I want more traditional cards.....

But this digital image is not colored in traditional colors again. Isn´t she sweet? She takes a long time to color, because of the many many places for shades, which makes her sooo fun to color!!

I am gonne make a card of her. I had a picture in my head, but I didn´t finish it last night, which means I have forgot how I was thinking. So now I will see if i can create something nice of her anyway. Will look for some inspiration in challenges and see if I can come up with something. :)

Hi all!

Today i have crafted a card after a sketch!
It was a fun and beautiful sketch!

I chose to do a christmas card. This is starting to feel good, all the cards I have already crafted!
I have a snowflake and vintage corner on this card. I don´t think they is easy to spot in the picture, looks more in RL...

This is one of my oldest stamps, was so fun to get it inked and colored again! And fun to see my coloring has improved since last time! :)

Hi all!

Yes, Christmas is coming closer and closer! Don´t mean to scare you, but I think I will mostly focus on Christmas challenges for a while so i get some cards done in time! (well, I have to do other things too, otherwise it will be boring, right?)

And in my family Santa is a girl. Guess who dresses out to Santa? And my daughter told me the second she saw me - Mummy-Santa!!! She was only two years old, and I was vering a big mask. There is no way I could foul my daughter. :)

I think one could say I like easel cards! LOL!
I think they add something extra. :)

The beautiful big roses are from WOC. One red and one orange, love them!
I have colored with my promarkers, as usual. :)
And I have used a Magnolia stamp.

One thing I wanted to try out with this card was if there was possible to do a Christmas card in warm colors. Therefore i started out with orange as a base for my red. Normaly i start with pink.

Masking rubber stamp and digital stamp

Hi!

I did it! I managed to merge a rubber stamp and a digital stamp! It was some job, i can tell you, but it worked!

The rubber stamp is from Magnolia and is from the latest release. The digital stamp is from Make it Crafty and is the background.

I combined two challenges. The challenge over at Make it Crafty is to add some texture. I wanted my Thilda to have cotton clothes on her, so i used a cotton stick to soften out the dots i created with promarkers and my blender. And over at Allsorts Challenge they wanted us to do Christmas easel card. Fun combination!

Hi!

Today i have created a card for Kenny K´s challenge - get dotty!

I used this cute mouse which is October freebie from Kenny K. Isn´t he cute?

I have used this lovely cardstock from Inkido with dots. I have also added flowers, glitter, a charm from Kattiz which say "kram", that means hug, in swedish. A diecut from Cuttlebug and some halfpearls from Panduro. I have teared some stripes in different shades of pink and added for more layers.

The sun is shining in Sweden today! It is a lovely autumn day!

So I took 2 pictures of my card, since the sun is standing low now, it is difficult to take a picture without shadows.

Tonight i wanted to try something. I used the same promarkers on the same image, but on different papers. How much does the paper play the role? Well, i have to say, when coloring on cheap paper from the grosery store (where we buy our food) or Letraset´s own paper ....It is a differense!

Which image is colored on the expensive paper? The right or the left? :)

It is dark outside now, so i had to take the picture indoors. For a card, that also makes a differense. If i can get daylight or not.

Yes, left paper is from Letraset. It feelt so smooth and nice to color on. And the color didn´t bleed much. Me like!

Pink - for breast cancer awareness

Hi again!

Two cards in one day! (This card I started yesterday) This is a very special card for me. I just had to create a card for this challenge. My mother died two years ago in breast cancer. This card is for her and all the women who is struggling against cancer. I was a little sad when creating this card, but enjoyed creating it anyway.
I just had to do it!

I have an album I am doing layouts with picture of my mother. It isn´t going fast, since it is still painful. But time really heals and I want to finish it later this year. It is for my daughter. They only got one year togheter, but it was an important year.

Today me and E have a day off! So we have been crafting! :)

I have created a halloween card. I like this stamp with the woman! It is from Sweet Pea stamps.

This is a different christmas card. It is almost monocromatic, I just added some blue details. I have colored with my new promarkers called Ice Grey number 1-5. (I only had warm grey before these arrived, so it was fun to try them out properly)

I have used cardstock from DCWV, and two different handmade papers for layers. I have punched out the stars and then added glitter. I have added pearls from my blue pearl maker.

The stamp is from Magnolia, from the last kit that arrived some time ago. The flowers are from Prima (the big one) and from the blog candy i won from Kattiz.

Finally my card for Sweet Pea Stampers is finished! It took me a couple of days to create. For once did I both sides at the same time. Usually i do not the inside of the card until it is ready to be given too someone.

I took 3 photos, the card looks better in real life...

Finally I got an ideá how to do a layout of this old photo of E and J. It is one of my daughters favorite photos, so I wanted a good layout. I have been out of ideas, but now with autumn and Rainbow Lady´s Challenge with falling leaves, it finally came to place!

I don´t have much different leaves so I drow them myself. I just have one kind of bought leaves, and I didn´t want them on this layout. I used a boarder punch from Ek Success. The half pearls is from Panduro. And I used 2 different alphabet stickers. The 2 green flowers are punched out from Nellie Snellens punch. The ribbon is brand new, arrived yesterday from Joanna Sheen.

Well, 99 out of 100 i do cards for girls/women. This time when using steampunk material, it became a birthday card that would suite a man almost more than a woman! This was really surprising when i was finished, but a nice one. I love it when challenges takes me to different styles. This card is a combination of inspiration from Paper Pad Challenge and Crafts and me. Some of the DT´s in Crafts and me had steampunk to show us.
So i used a digi from Make it Crafty. The chipboards are also from them. The paper is ofcourse from Paper Pad Challenge. Grattis is the word i have spelled and that means Happy birthday, but in swedish. :)

This card is special too me. I have many to thank when creating this. I want to thank darksidedesign (J) for the handmade purple rose and the wine red rose. Today i got to use my favorite combination, what a nice challenge! An easel card was some time ago since i last created, so that was the kind of card i choise. I think it is time to try some new folding so i will look around after fun foldings later. :)

Anyway, as you can see my favorite color combintions is brown and purple. They must also be my favorite colors seperately. When i look at my cards, many are made in brown or purple. I added some yellow just to light the card up. I don´t have to do dark cards even tho autumn is making our days darker. :)

This week over at Rainbow Lady´s Challenge we are doing Autumn/Fall flowers. For me fall is brown and wine red. Orange and perhaps some green could have been other colors i think fit but i didn´t want to much things on my card, so I was satisfied with only a couple of flowers and some leafs.

I used acetat on my card, therefore i had to have my camera in a different angle, not to get the reflection. I used acetat as a window on my card, even tho there was no real window. Next time i think i will do a shaker card with acetat.

I have used a stamp from MiC. The orange rose and the pin is both from WOC. I wanted to do a sparkling card with some late summer feeling. Is summer really over? Summer is my favorite time! Hi!

I have learned a new word! Chevrons! I had to google it and also look at the DT projects at The Shabby Tea Room. But i think i understood what it was at last, so i added it in the shape of a ribbon. I chose green as my main color, it is a lovely color that i dont use that very often. The same goes for blue. They are so lovely, but tend to fall out of my mind when making cards.

This time i have used a stamp that was one of my first purchases. I don´t know who has designed it, but I like it! I used 2 different spellbinder dies, the paper is from a serie, I don´t know the name, but the green in the scalloped oval is the opposite (same colors, same pattern, but opposite place) to the paper I used as base.

I love my pearl maker. I wish I had more colors.

Again, i did a Christmas card! It will be so good when Christmas approaching and I already have some finished cards to send out.

This challenge over at Rainbow Lady´s Challenge they want us to use "White space".

I think cards become very elegant with white space, so this beautiful pyragmages that i recieved from Cynthia fits perfect i think! I think they are called pyramages or maybe decopage, i havent understood the differense between these two words yet.

Oh how i love to combine 2 challenges and see if they fit! I think these 2 did just that. :)

The Shabby Tea Room have a challenge called Vintage White, but we could also do a card monocromatic and use brown, which i did. I used Tim Holtz stamp, I think I haven´t used it before, but my memory often fails me, so maybe I have...But so fun to do vintage! Me like!

Paper Sundaes have a challenge where we should use felt. And i have had some felt flowers for some time now, and didn´t know when to use those. Oh well, i still have some left, so have to go and look for more challenge later on! :) At least 2 came to use!

It was a freebie from Bugaboo Digi stamps, some time ago. Then i found this great sketch from WOC to help me with the layout! :)
The white flower and the corner are both from WOC.

The image was bigger than my biggest oval die, so i had to cut out the feets before cuting out the image.

I find new cool places all the time! My latest finding is Scrapper´s Delights. They had this girl that fit perfect in my layout about Emma who wants to go to school. It is a little early since she is only (in the picture) 2 years old. If you have red my blog before you know she turned 3 years old a little time ago. :)

Hi!

Purple is one of my absolute favourite colours! And i love to add black and also some grey.
I had to figure out what this girl could say, and i am not sure it is proper english to say " The most beautiful thing i know is you". I don´t think you could be a thing...but i like the way it sounded, so i chose those words. :)
I have used Word to write it out. Pearls, glitter (ofcourse! can´t live without it!) and flowers are also favorite things. This is my card! :)

This is a fun girl to color! I just had to use her before fall comes for real, too us in Sweden because then the summer feels very distance... I found 3 different challenges that i wanted to combine to one card:
I used lovely lasercut chipboard (the dragonflie) and flowers and swirls are never difficult to attatch. And purple is one of my favorite colors. Here is my card:

Bildmålarnas challenge 7

Bildmålarna challenge 7 is this card made too. I used my brand new spellbinder dies! I wanted to make a medium blue card, not light and elegant, nor dark and beautiful. No i wanted a more playful card. This is my result:

It feels good to make christmas cards now. It will not be stressful later!

This is my first attempt to color a whole image in grey! And i havn´t got cold ice grey yet, so i had to use my warm grey. It really give the image a whole different caracter to color in warm grey than in cold grey. It is fun to see how different they can be. Over at Svensk Scrapbooking they have colored some images in cold grey and i feel those images looks...younger. My image feels older. If you are a member off the page I am refering too, you can head over there and look in the thread called "Promarkers - Tipstråden". This is something i will do more off, it was fun!

Trying to improve my coloring!

This was a serious try to improve my coloring of this mushroom stamp, that i love. I have once before colored it with purple, and now when Make it Colorful came with this challenge where we should color with purple, i felt i had the chance to do another coloring of the same stamp, to see what/if i could improve.

and so you can easily compare I gonne add my old coloring and card in this post too:

I think my coloring was better this latest time i colored it. And i "know" the stamp more now.

I am not sure which layout of the card i like the most, maybe my old card looks a little better?

It was fun to do this challenge, often one "move on" to fast. It is rare i do the same stamp again, with the SAME colors. Now I felt i really had the chance to improve! :)

Yes, if my daugther thinks a card isn´t good looking, she tells me. It has happened one time so far, so she is mostly nice and tell me how wonderful my cards are. She turns 3 years old tomorrow. My little darling!

Is the name of Make it Colorful´s new challenge. And it is a whole new way to color. The lines disappear and then you have to make the shapes be sharp in other ways!

I have used one of my favorite stamps from Make it Crafty. This is my card:

Oh, i have the same color on my cloths as my card is in! Hehe!

This was a fun card to do! (Ar´nt they all?) I used my new "Pyramage - Red hearts" that was the prize from Sweet Pea Stampers for my sexy card! :) I didn´t know what pyramage was until yesterday! I love to play with new things! This is like ... a 3 D puzzle with the picutres. The images is already colored (good since i used 6 of them!!) I added some glitter to the pyramage since i wanted a "magical birthday wish", and i think magic is sparkling, don´t you?

It was a little hard to get the right balance in the card with the 3 D picture, but after i went away from the card it all fell on it´s right places when i returned. I changed image and decorations (yes, i changed almost everything!) and voila: here it is:

A sexy card - Sweet Pea Stampers

This is one of the stamps i got as the prize from Sweet Pea Stamps! I like it very much, thank you sweet girls over at Sweet Pea Stampers!

So i wanted to do a sexy card, since that is the challenge!
Well, Ching chou kuik almost always makes beautiful and sexy girls, so the choise was easy. Red is sexy. And lace, and i had some net that i wanted to symbolize fishnet stockings (is that really the english name?) so i colored it with my promarkers. Layers are sexy, and so is strong colors.

Oh and i have started to write my name on the photo of the card. It looks so good when others do! :)

The rain outside forced me to take this indoors, and with flash. Couldnt get it better than this.

Oh yes! This I think took me almost 2 days to finish. (A lot of time was waiting tho, for the promarks to dry, for the glitter, for Glossy Accent and so on) It was hard, and very very fun!!! I love these digital stamps from Make it Crafty! And do you see the little dragonfly? It is also from Make it Crafy, I first colored it, waited for it to dry, then added glitter, so even the little things took a long time to finish... But it was worth it!! Colors, love them!

So i was looking around for a challenge to make me inspired. Challenges are great for inspiration! I found this challenge where we should have frames in our card. You have been framed! they call it. Ofcourse i got this image of a card in my head. This is how it turned out:

The flowers are from the blogcandy i won from Darkdesign. The rubberstamps (3 stamps) are all from Make it Crafty. And it is Toto and Fifi that is new stamps.

Colored with promarkers. The digital stamp i have been searching for its creator, but can´t find out where it is from unfortunately.

Wild Orchid Challenge have a sketch for this challenge. It was inspiring so it become a mostly green new card with Jossies digi stamp. The flowers are all from W O C.

I am afraid that the sentiment is a digi stamp i downloaded before i got my new system with every stamp in different maps with name of the creator, so i am unsure where it is from...

Today feels like a late summer day. The sun shines, but it hasnt that normal strenght...

I got to chose 3 digi stamps from Caroline. One of the stamps, i chose a template to make this cute basket.
My 2 year (soon 3 year old) daughter loves it! She snapped it while i was photograping it, but luckily I got 2 good pictures. :)

I think i will be storing flowers in it. If i get it back from my daughter. :)

Red christmas card!

Hmmm... a lot of challenge sites have challenges where we should do christmas cards .... in July! First i thought it couldnt make it, but the ideá grow in my mind and a week or two later... here it comes! :)
It was really fun to do a christmas card now, but hard, since red is a tricky color to do cards with i m o.

This card is made with paper from American Crafts. The stamp is Hänglar and Stänglar. I have used punchinella in the background. Flowers are from You do. (not the little white rose)
I have added glossy accent on the heart. White highliter makes the girls cheak look brighter (in the winter cold! :) ) I have written the message "Merry Christmas" but in swedish = "God Jul" and i have used Vintage corner from Cuttlebug and a spellbinder die.

A new LO

It was some time ago since i last did a LO. Cardmaking is ... more fun at the moment. :)
But this LO is one i have had in my head for a while.

These photos do wake up a question tho... Why am i living in Sweden? :)
Hehe, no, i love living here, even tho the summer is too short!! A little to much winter with to much cold also...
But when spring and summer finally arrives.... We all start to live again after our winter "sleep".
